ShelbyWe lost our beloved friend and companion on February 7, 2013 at the age of 12.  Shelby was a dapple dachshund who stole our hearts with her big personality and sweet face. Her expressions were priceless, her love for others endless. She loved to burrow under the covers and by doing so brought comfort to many people facing terminal illnesses. Shelby loved people and would sit in any lap that would allow her to. She never barked except when she wanted a treat. She loved to give kisses which she never missed as she had the longest tongue of any animal our vet had treated. Our other two dogs are still adjusting to the loss of their pack leader as are we.  She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. We find comfort in knowing we will see her again.

NatashaMy cat Natasha passed away June 27, 2012. She was about 22 years old and she is greatly missed. Knowing that she had a wonderful and long life has not lessened the pain and grief felt by her passing. She was the oldest of my pet kids. My younger cat Charm and puppy Breeze have also missed Natasha. Natasha was a wonderful loving friend and will be remembered for the mark she has left in my life over the past many years. He was our family dog for over 14 years. He was our steadfast companion and best friend. Tucker was the greatest dog we ever owned. He had a soul…he could look at you and know what you were thinking or feeling. He loved everyone and had to be in the middle of whatever we were doing. The loss of a dog is beyond heartbreaking. Words cannot truly explain the grief you are feeling. When that day came when we had to put Tucker to sleep, we almost couldn’t do it. But the last thing we wanted was for him to suffer. The day we picked up his ashes, it was like bringing him home again. Thank you for loving us and we hope you knew how much you meant to us. I hope we didn’t wait too long before we let you go to sleep. Although it was the hardest thing we ever had to do, we always wanted you to be happy and have a good home. Welcome home!

Jack was a wonderful family member to us and our first “baby”.  My husband and I got Jack when he was only 2 months old and we were just dating.  He was quite the crazy puppy as he chewed up about everything in sight – from shoes to couches!  Jack always had a ton of energy and it was his favorite game as a puppy (and actually until he was almost 5 years old) to run from you if he got off the leash and then stop ahead of you as if to say just try and catch me!  He loved to snuggle under the covers with us and go for long walks.  He was my partner in the annual MS Walk for the past 8 years.  He is missed
